throwing stars

Ninjas began using throwing stars in the Sengoku period (1467–1573). At first, they were used by ninjas to throw at attackers during hand-to-hand combat. This was to immobilize an opponent. Used in this way, they became known as shuriken. These are similar to kunai knives.

Shuriken were created with sharp ends or points and flat sides to facilitate better flight. They were also made with short blades so that if a ninja missed his target, he could still grip them and slash them with his sharpened edges. Eventually they became popular training weapons because they are easier to practice with than wooden swords or blunt weapons of the time.

How to Use Shuriken?

Ninja stars are one type of shuriken, a small hand-held weapon typically with a sharp point and sometimes curved blades on the back. They’re usually made from metal or some other sharp material such as ceramic or glass. Anywhere from minimal to significant damage can be inflicted by throwing stars, depending on the size and shape of the blade.

Knowing how to use ninja stars is like knowing how to use any other dangerous weapons; proper training is essential for safety reasons and martial arts training is often suggested for those who want to learn how”.

Throwing stars are knives that have been attached to a long thin metal rod, giving them the mobility and attack of a standard knife and the sharpness of a thrown weapon. They’re perfect for fighting in environments where melee weapons are impractical or unwieldy, such as indoors or during urban combat.

When thrown, the blade rotates through the air and imparts its spin to the star. As it strikes a target, it tumbles and makes a wound that is considerably larger than the star itself. These weapons can be used to attack at range, but they wouldn’t make very good thrown attacks against armor due to their small size.

However, they are perfect for piercing flesh and severing tendons (though not large blood vessels), which will significantly hamper an opponent’s mobility if successful.

Advantages and Disadvantages:

Ninja stars are simply an extension of the sword. There are a number of advantages and disadvantages to these sharp tools. Let’s take a look at both:

· Advantages

One advantage is that they can be easily concealed in a pocket or purse, while another advantage is they are easy to make or purchase. A quick look at these ninja stars shows them as an ancient weapon used by ancient warriors. They are sharp weapons with a long history of use that can be used to kill, maim, or intimidate.

The size of ninja stars range from a few inches to over six inches in diameter. It is important to know how big the weapon will be you will be using so you can get one for your skill level.

In contrast with knives and other melee weapons, these have many advantages that make them perfect as self-defense weapons. The star’s simple design is easy to conceal while its compact size makes it easy to use in close quarters where there may not be much room.

· Disadvantages

Many people search the internet for ninja stars, which are also known as star knives or shurikens. They are a weapon in which you throw them at something, or someone. The blades of the points on these stars often measure one inch and sometimes have a painted or unpainted edge.

There are many reasons why someone would want to throw these stars: self-defense, camping, target practice and just plain fun time. The disadvantages of these sharp stars is that they can be dangerous if not handled with care around unsuspecting people such as children or adults that do not know how to use thrown weapons responsibly and safely.

Another disadvantage is that because they have a sharp point on one side and generally no edge on the other side, they cannot be used as missile weaponry since it will not have enough contact area with the surface of the target to cause significant damage. Throwing stars used as armor would also not penetrate thick clothing like swords would do with their sharp edges.
